The Panasonic AK-PLV100GSJ is a 4K studio camera built around a 5.7K Super 35 mm image sensor and a 35 mm PL lens mount. This is the LEMO connector model.

For studio camera users, the camera head is compatible with Panasonic AK-UCU700 and AK-HCU250 camera control units, so an existing system can swap in the AK-PLV100GSJ head and start shooting cinematic live video. For cinema camera users, it removes the usual rig of external converters: the head outputs 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI directly, and in an ST 2110 system it can run without a CCU at all. It can also be integrated with the Panasonic KAIROS IT/IP platform for remote production.
