The Panasonic AW-UB50 is a box-style camera with a 24.2-megapixel full-frame MOS sensor and an L-mount, in a body under 10cm in height, width and depth excluding lens. It shares a common IP control protocol with Panasonic’s remote camera systems, so it can be run from the same Remote Operation Panel as Panasonic PTZ cameras.

V-Log gives 14+ stops of latitude, and Dual Native ISO keeps noise down in low light. Colour profiles compatible with the AW-UE160 4K PTZ camera help match the AW-UB50 to PTZ cameras in a multi-camera setup, and the camera works with Media Production Suite. The sibling AW-UB10 uses a 10.3-megapixel 4/3-inch MOS sensor with a Micro Four Thirds mount and 13 stops in V-Log L, for wider framing of several subjects at once.

Connections include 3G-SDI out, timecode in and out, genlock in, HDMI Type A, USB-C, 3.5mm mic and headphones, and a LAN port that is PoE+ compliant, so video, control and power can run on one cable.
