Konvision KXM-3210S 32″ 4K HDR QD-OLED Mastering Monitor

The Konvision KXM-3210S is a 31.5-inch 4K HDR mastering monitor using a self-emissive QD-OLED panel at 3840×2160. Quantum dots control the colour of each sub-pixel, giving 1000 nits peak brightness, a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and at least 80% BT.2020 coverage. The 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle keeps colour and brightness consistent when several people watch the same screen, which matters in a grading room or review theatre. Video processing is 12-bit.

Connectivity is built around two 12G-SDI and two 3G-SDI inputs, each with a loop output. 4K arrives either as a single 12G-SDI link or as 4x 3G-SDI quad-link in SQD or 2SI format up to 4K60p. An SFP+ cage accepts fibre SDI, and an HDMI 2.0 input with loop-out can also output SDI or SFP+ sources. Single-link SDI handles 4K to HD down-conversion and HDR to SDR conversion with NBCU and CMG LUT support.

The monitor covers Rec.709, EBU, DCI-P3, DCI-P3 D65 and Rec.2020, Gamma 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6, HLG and ST2084 PQ with soft roll-off, and reads VPID and Payload ID to set colour space and EOTF automatically.
