The Gecko-Cam LPL Mount GECKO PRO for Sony Venice (part GEP.11000.0) replaces the original mount on Sony Venice cameras so native LPL lenses can be used directly on the camera. This is the LDS version: it carries an LPL lens data connection so LDS lens data is fed straight to the camera for metadata and on-screen lens information.

The body is machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminium, with a stainless steel LPL flange and stainless steel screws, chosen by Gecko-Cam to keep the effect of pressure and temperature changes to a minimum. Each mount is factory adjusted within 0.005 mm tolerance in parallelity and depth, and the design is improved for telecentric lenses to eliminate vignetting. After fitting the mount to the camera, Gecko-Cam recommends measuring and calibrating the flange depth. Adjustment is done by adding or removing colour coded shims under the LPL flange, which is held by six TX8 screws.
